About Tallyo
Tallyo is a spending discipline app for couples and individuals who want to actually stick to a budget — not just track one after the fact.
We built it for our own family. Existing apps either tried to do too much or buried the one question that mattered: are we on track today?
Tallyo is opinionated. Every expense is logged manually — tap a category, type a number, three seconds. Each category is colour-coded against a daily pace marker, so you see the moment you start drifting. When a category runs out, you borrow from another — the total stays the same, but the trade-off becomes conscious. Two phones, one budget.
We use it ourselves. It is not a side project we hope works — it is the tool that runs our household.
Who builds Tallyo
Tallyo is built by James Killeen, in Dubai, alongside his wife Angela who is the daily co-user and the reason the multi-user model works at all.
